Where did get your trumpet from and how much did it cost?
I bought my trumpet from my music teacher and it cost more than $500.00.

What is your favourite song to play on the trumpet? My favourite song is Southen Folk Rapsody

Why did you decide to learn to play the trumpet when there are so many other cool instruments that you could play?

I thought the trumpet would be fun because I had seen some people playing it on tv.

Do you want to be famous for playing the trumpet?

Yes because I would like to win some trophies.

Do you like playing your trumpet in concerts?

Yes I really like playing the trumpet in concerts because lots of people come to watch us and we can get some money when we put out a bucket.

Terry the Tiger - Term 4 Week 7

In the weekend I stayed with GB. We went to the Gala and we won a Snapper Hand made of slime, I found it a bit gross but GB didn't mind.

When we got home we had Sushi, GB and her mum made my favourite kind which is called Salmon and avocado. After dinner I went to bed after a very busy day while GB stayed up to watch TV.

Terry the Tiger - Term 4 Week 6

Me and INB made a go cart for me. I went down my skateboard ramp in the go cart. Me and INB drew me and him. This is the interesting bit a ninja came out of nowhere and I fell out of a tree and fell onto the ninja's head.

I went to drama I think INB did well! He was very well behaved. Igot to be with some wwe wrestlers and we vs some other wrestlers me and my frends CM punk & Edge. Edge is the one on the left CM punk was on the right. We ate ice cream and I said "Cookies 'n' Cream is my favourite" "Well you're in luck Terry"and we ate in joy. INB drew me and himself and we woke up and we went to school. I saw KD one of my best friends!

KIDS FOR KIDS

On Tuesday the 17 of November half of our class went to KIDS FOR KIDS CHOIR, with Suzanne Prentice. My two favourite songs were My favourite Things and The Banana Boat Song. My mum, brother and dad were sitting in the forth row and I was sitting by AW and RL. KIDS FOR KIDS was really fun and Suzanne reseved an award!!!

It's Diabetes Week and I'm The Man

Hi, I am the man you want to speak to and that's because I have got Type 1 Diabetes. I was only 4 years old and I used to keep drinking lots of water until my Mum took me to the doctor and they did a blood test and I was 24.6 and I should have only been 7.0, so off I went to hospital for a week and then it all started and here I am ....

I think it is really cool to have a Diabetes week because it makes us feel special when we have had a hard year with our diabetes. Last Saturday my family and I went to Auckland Zoo with lots of other kids that have diabetes, it was really mean cause I gots lots off free stuff.

I hope you like the Diabetes Rap song I found on youtube it tells you lots about Diabetes.

It's Our Gala Countdown....

5 more sleeps to go until our School Gala Day on Sunday 22nd November. This week room 11 are busy making yummy sweets to sell at our sweet stall. We have been busy bringing in lots of different items to help support our school. We thought of making chocolate fudge, toffee, coconut ice, can you think of any other sweets we could make?

Ares 1-X Rocket

This is a video of the Ares 1-X Rocket finally being launched on Thursday 29th October 2009. NASA is trying to return astronauts to the moon instead of the space shuttle programme. The test launch did not have astronauts inside it this time but eventually it will. During the past 3 years it has cost $620 million and it was all over in 2 minutes. Do you think sending astronauts to the moon is a good idea?

What's Happening in Room 11 This Term??

At the end of last term we took everything off our walls and covered them in black material. We had some post stick notes and wrote our ideas about what we are going to learn in term 4. Here is a wordle brainstorm of our ideas. If you have any others let us know...

WOW! I had an awesome time with R.T. We went to the park and had alot of fun at the park. When we got back we played on the psp, it was fun. Then it was 6.30, time for diner we had pizza hut it was yum! Then it was 7.00 time for bed good night.

Terry The Tiger - Week 5 Term 3

Hi People! It's me again, Terry!!! This week I went home with K.D.

On Friday, K.D. and I were on the computers, and K.D. was playing on Poptropica. On Saturday, it was really special because there was a soccer game between K.D.'s Team which is City and another team which I don't know. But all I know was that I was sitting on the Gear Bag and I was looking at K.D.'s Team chatting about how we're going to win!!! At the end of the Game, it was the most horrible time ever!! Because the score was 0 and about like 6 mill :( -_-"!!!

Soon, we went to a special place, it was K.D's grandmother's house!!! But before that we went to McDonald's!! K.D. had an Ice Age 3 combo and I just ordered patties!! And now we went to K.D.'s grandmother's house! I saw K.D's cousin which is B.Z.

On Sunday we went to a walkway, it took half an hour/30 minutes to get from the beginning to the finish!!! After, we went to Titirangi Beach!! There was a laminated swing (stuck together), a motorbike, a swing and a side car, but of course... THE SEASIDE VIEW!!!!!!!! But wait, we also went to Olympic park and K.D. got an apple juice!! And there was this big as red spider-web looking like thing that was about the same height as a Brachiosaurus :O!!

Sighs happily, "It was the best time yet that I've gone home with a student!" :D (K.D. also gave me a badge on my fishing coat! :)

Terry the Tiger - Week 4 Term 3

To Earth

In the weekend I made friends with Stingy and Starry. AD made chicken sushi with me and it was yummy.

This is how to make sushi:

1 cup of rice
1 seaweed mat
Slice of chicken and a pot

1. Put the rice in the pot and cook the rice.
2. Cook the chicken in the pot.
3.Put the seaweed on the table.
4.Spread the rice on the seaweed.
5.Roll the seaweed, rice and the chicken togther.
6.Chop it up in to slices.

Terry the Tiger - Week 3 Term 3

L.M took me home because of his super reading.

At L.M's house I meet some of L.M's teddy's Lamby'Power and Professor Mumbles.

Soon, after that we had dinner. We had beef with veggies ,yum!

The next day I played duck duck goose with Lamby, Power, L.M, and Professor Mumbles was busy making a time machine. As we went to bed, we sneaked back to the T.V and stayed up all night.

On Sunday I had a chat with Professor Mumbles ...

I asked "what was your best invention?" And Professor Mumbles said "My Hover Car."

I had lots fun with L.M.

Terry The Tiger - Term 3 Week 2

Hi it's Terry here. I had lots of fun with R.L.

We went to the Zoo and saw another kind of me!


We had hot chips and all the birds wanted them so we gave them some of the chips.We went to see lots of fuzzy bunnies and some of them were very big and fat.Two of the sealions had a fight while the other one was swimming in circles! After we saw all the animals we went to a shop and R.L brought a toy Yorkie. Do you know what breed a Yorkie is? When we left I thought we were going back to R's house but instead we went to pick up R.L's brother from work.

Terry the Tiger-Week 9 Term 2

Hi, it's Terry again! I went to ZF's house. We got some movies to watch, one of them was The Flight of the Navigator and Nancy Drew. First, we watched Nancy Drew and then The Flight of the Navigator, The Flight of the Navigator was creepy, it had aliens and the ship was alive and it was really dumb! After that, we went to bed but ZF kept on reading books. The next day, I ate some cookies secretly but ZF and his mum caught me eating them! Then we watched the rest of the movies. After that we went to bed AGAIN! ZF kept on reading AGAIN!!!!! Well folks, bye for now see you again soon. You should look at the rest of the photos!

Terry the Tiger - Week 1 Term 3

Hi Guys,

I had a fantastic weekend with RB. Can you guess what we did? We watched Star Wars Attack of the Clones. I really enjoyed the movie and I tied myself to the top of the tv and hung down and watched the movie.

RB has a really cool friend called Dog and he let me play with him all weekend. I had a really comfortable bed at RB's ... it was a book, an animated book on Transformers, I had a little peek at the title.

I had a marvellous time with RB at his house!

Terry the Tiger - School Holidays

Hi it's me Terry. For the Holidays I went to JH's house and we watched Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. On Tuesday we went to Whitianga and had a cool time. We bought some toys, a magnetic game and an aircraft carrier. Just before JH went back to school he gave me some super soft slippers and a fishing jacket (in case I got too cold).

At JH's house it rocked!!!! because he has loads of toys, in fact his house is full of them, he has more than any other kid would have.

This is another slideshow about our magnetic travel toys we made in term 2. I liked my magnetic travel toy because you can travel with it in a plane/train or car and any transport and it's safe,sturdy and strong. I would change my magnets because they were too weak so I needed to get stronger magnets.

I liked my magnetic travel toy because the track folds up to make the box but I think that next time I would use stronger magnets.

Terry the Tiger - Week 7 GB

Hi there!

I had the best time with GB because I went to the museum and had fun in the volcano house. At the museum GB and I learnt that Sir Edmund Hillary conquered Mt Everest on the 29th May 1953. After that we had dinner, G's nice mum served some yummy fish & chips. We cleared the table and G made a nice cosey curtain bed for me. On Sunday G and I went to a pool party, but I didn't swim because I didn't want to get my paws wet. For dinner to finish of the weekend we had a feast of sushi.

Hi everyone,

This time I went home with JG it was cool fun. I got to eat meat with gravy on top for dinner (J's mum is a great cook). The funny thing is the cat called Harry dragged me around the whole house and there was teddy's as well as the cat some of their names was Mr Snaggles and Killer. We got to watch Star Wars the Clone Wars, Code name kids next door.

Terry the Tiger - Week 6 LF

Hi everyone,

This weekend I went home with LF and I slept the night in L's bed. On Saturday L and I played with his sister and her snappy dolls it was real fun. I stayed up real late on Saturday night and we watched the National Bank Country Calendar and for dinner we had fish & chips. LF had a hot dog with some chips. We went to Sylvia Park to pick up LF's dad and we went to a cafe called West-Coast. Then we went to Farmers and CD & DVD Store. On Sunday when it was dinner time LF's nan came over and we all had lamb racks with gravy on the top, potatoes and kumara. LF's mum made all that dinner for the whole family and everyone said that it was a lovely dinner.

Hello it's me again Terry!!!

I have just had a brilliant time at SF's house and I met her dog Marley. I had a lovely rest on him but he woke up and knocked me off. I had to keep out of Marley's reach or else I would have to say " Bye bye " Well me and SF had a great time mucking round on the computer!!!!! But her brother MF had strange computer games like "Need for speed most wanted" that was the worst game in the history of games!!!!!!!
