A Star is Born

An interview with our star...

Where did get your trumpet from and how much did it cost?
I bought my trumpet from my music teacher and it cost more than $500.00.

What is your favourite song to play on the trumpet? My favourite song is Southen Folk Rapsody

Why did you decide to learn to play the trumpet when there are so many other cool instruments that you could play?

I thought the trumpet would be fun because I had seen some people playing it on tv.

Do you want to be famous for playing the trumpet?

Yes because I would like to win some trophies.

Do you like playing your trumpet in concerts?

Yes I really like playing the trumpet in concerts because lots of people come to watch us and we can get some money when we put out a bucket.

  1. This is really, really wonderful! The Trumpet is one of those things that only a very select group of people can play and this student is obviously supremely talented! Great video and defiantly needs to be shared with an audience! Wonderful!

  2. Thanks Mr Webb for your comment. I started to learn my trumpet this year and every Wednesday I go to Pakuranga Intermediate to practise and we always have lots of concerts. We are the best band in the North Islaned. We are called the Eastern Stars Cadet Band.

  3. I am so excited to hear you are learning the trumpet. My Dad plays the trumpet too! And did you know it's pretty easy to learn the saxophone if you've played trumpet?! Also I know a really popular TV show, your mum might watch it, where the theme tune has a trumpet playing. Can you guess what it is? I'll give you a clue it's on TV on Tuesdays and Thursdays usually at 7:30pm on TV 1. P.S I have just noticed that room 11 and room 8 have the same Xmas blog background! That must be because we're buddy classes!
